The programme of research will be delivered in partnership between UKRI Research Councils led by the EPSRC, and BEIS Public Sector Research Establishments (PSREs) led by the Met Office. The PSREs include the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) research councils, including the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC)
Programme Board Members
ExCALIBUR is managed by a Programme Board, with representation from both the UKRI and Met Office. The Programme Board oversees planning, finances, risks, monitoring and evaluation. The Programme Board also makes decisions around the scope of work packages and calls.
