Introduction to Xcompact3D training course

Start Time: 10:00 End Time: 17:00

The Turbulence at Exascale ExCALIBUR project are running a training session on Xcompact3d, which is a Fortran-based framework of high-order finite-difference flow solvers dedicated to the study of turbulent flows. one of the four flagship solvers of the UK Turbulence Consortium, it has been designed to be user-friendly and simple, yet versatile, accurate, scalable, and portable. Developed heavily as part of this ExCALIBUR project, its efficiency has made it an attractive tool for the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) community.

The course will be held in Room 309 of City and Guilds Building at Imperial College London. Registration is free, but places are limited. For more details and to sign up see here.
